CHROMATOGRAPHY is owned and published by the Society of Chromatographic Science (SCS). Articles are published under either the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) 4.0 International License or the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) 4.0 International License, as selected by the authors after manuscript acceptance. All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Accepted articles may be published online prior to final publication in order to ensure rapid dissemination of research findings. Such early online versions are clearly identified and may differ from the final published version. Early online versions are assigned a DOI and may be cited. The final version of record will replace the early online version upon publication. CHROMATOGRAPHY is published three times a year on a regular schedule. CHROMATOGRAPHY is published in print three times a year, on February 20th, June 20th, and October 20th. The final, edited version of each article is published in both print and online formats following completion of the editorial process. The electronic version of each issue is released after publication of the print edition.
Archiving CHROMATOGRAPHY ensures electronic backup and long-term preservation of access to all published content. The journal content is preserved through the J-STAGE platform to ensure long-term digital archiving. In the event that the journal ceases publication, all published articles will remain accessible online. Submission Fees and Publication Charges
Submission of a manuscript by a member of the Society of Chromatographic Science (SCS) is free of charge, provided that the first or corresponding author is a member of SCS at the time of submission. Authors may be required to cover the actual costs associated with color figures, photographs, or other special printing requirements in the print version.
For non-members of SCS, a submission fee of 30,000 JPY is charged at the time of manuscript submission. Invited manuscripts solicited by the Editors are exempt from submission fees. APC is not charged.
