Abstract:
On the 5th of June, Pre-symposium Workshop of Chromatography Symposium titled on “Bioanalysis in Japan” was held at Hyakunen Kinenkan of Kobe University, and the speakers of the experts from industry, government and academia groups introduced their approaches and contribution to the development of bioanalysis in Japan based on their own positions. From the academia, Dr. Kakehi, (Professor, School of Pharmacy of Kinki University) talked on the significance of education of analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and regulatory science in bioanalysis mainly concerned on the difference in the pharmaceutical analysis of small molecule and protein drugs. After that, “Guideline on Bioanalytical Method Validation in Pharmaceutical Development” was released from Health, Labour and Welfare Ministry on 11th July. Here we explain the present situation and future prospects on the bioanalysis education and training programs provided at the pharmaceutical department of Kinki university.
