Abstract:
The data analysis by liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) for the determination of veterinary drugs in livestock foods was studied. LC/MS/MS acquisition parameters were established in positive and negative electrospray ionization (ESI) modes. In multiple reaction monitoring (MRM), target ions were used for the quantification, and relative intensities (intensity rations) of reference ion to target ion were used for the qualitative analysis. The relative intensities for reference are characteristic of veterinary drugs.
